Ayumi Hamasaki’s Abortion

Posted in Japan, Music, Sex by Elliott Back on July 26th, 2007.

According to Mainichi news, the reason Ayumi Hamasaki and Tomoya Nagase divorced was an abortion Ayu allegedly had:

“Ayu is a formal member of a top Tokyo hospital, which guarantees her absolute privacy, but apparently somebody happened to spot her bawling her eyes out while at the hospital in the spring,” the reporter says. “I have to admit that I don’t know whether the rumor is true.”

If she did become pregnant, her music career would be on hold, possibly forever. And with competition from Koda Kumi, she has to be on top of her “j-idol” game.

Missy Elliott too bootylicious for Beijing Olympics

Posted in China, Cute, Sex, Tattoos by Elliott Back on June 16th, 2007.

Li Ning, principal of Beijing Institute of Protocol, is heading the selection process for hostesses at next year’s Beijing Olympics, and has a few choice things to say:

We don’t want anyone who looks in any way sleazy because that could really put athletes off. Bone structure and height should be uniform. For example, we don’t want any wide bottoms.

Tattoos are also forbidden, which puts Missy Elliott out of the running under all counts, as she got an authentic tribal tattoo in New Zealand, is incredibly short, and definitely bootylicious.

That’s too bad, as she’d make a great opening event. However, since the ceremonies will probably try to have as Chinese a flavour as possible, someone like Faye Wong, Jay Chou, S.H.E, or any of the myriad and awesome Chinese singers would do!

(On an unrelated note, wouldn’t a 周杰伦 / Missy Elliott collaborating be TOTALLY AWESOME?)

Chotiros “Amy” Suriyawong Too Sexy For Thailand

Posted in Crime & Law, Culture, Sex by Elliott Back on February 20th, 2007.

Chotiros Suriyawong, know as Amy in Western circles, appeared wearing a stunning evening gown for Thailand’s version of the Oscars.  Unfortunately, her dress did not meet local moral standards and she has been sentenced to community service, and dropped from the casting of her next movie.  She has also been ordered to make a public apology.

Here are a couple photos of her dress that evening–you’ve seen the same worn by plenty of American and British actresses going up for their awards:

In this next one you can tell the camera man is totally enthralled by her dress:

Yes, the dress is very sexy, but it’s also fairly modest and sophisticated, with a long skirt.  If it weren’t for that slit running top to bottom there would be no problem… and nothing to distinguish it from every other black evening gown.  It’s only by taking risks with fashion that you can shock and impress the people around you.  If you wear what society expects, you’re not making progress.

Dare to go against the norm!  Be unique and special!

Internet Dating Gone Wrong

Posted in China, Sex, Technology by Elliott Back on January 7th, 2007.

Technology doesn’t always facilitate a good relationship. The French Press reports:

A 17-year-old boy in northeastern China was so disappointed with the looks of a woman he met over the Internet that he hanged himself after seeing her face-to-face, state media reported Friday. The girl described herself as a beautiful 19-year-old and the pair chatted on the Web for weeks before arranging a December 26 rendezvous in the nearby city of Mudanjiang, in far northeastern Heilongjiang province. The boy arrived to discover the woman far less attractive than advertised and 10 years older than him, Xinhua said. The boy immediately returned home, lost his appetite, and four days later hanged himself from a tree.

With a name like Qunjiaofeiyang (Flying Skirt), he should have known better.

300 Asian celebrities go nude for charity

Posted in China, Sex by Elliott Back on December 6th, 2006.

If seeing Andy Hui or Pace Wu take a little off excites you, check out this notice on Shanghai-ist:

Famed Singaporean photographer Leslie Kee has found himself in the centre of a controversy over the launch of his latest photobook and exhibition, SuperStars, featuring 300 top Asian celebrities — many of them almost nude — a project that has taken him two years to complete.

Andy Hui takes it all off.

Of course, this is better than America, where celebs enjoy running around naked for sheer public amusement.  Here, it’s apparently going for some kind of charity!
